Each bracelet and necklace is handcrafted by Laura at Heartstringz. The jewelry is custom made to your specifications. Or if you wish, Laura can design a jewelry piece for you based on color preferences. The
jewelry is made using a combination of Swarovski crystals, freshwater pearls, glass beads, and
semiprecious stones.

Things to think about when choosing jewelry:

Length : Bracelets are up to 8" and necklaces are up to 20".
• When measuring your wrist size, allow extra length for the bracelet to swing and "catch the light."
• Consider wearing two different necklace lengths together: a 16" choker and a 20" circlet for example.
• Custom lengths are not a problem!

Bead Size :
• Small, medium, or large glass beads or semiprecious stones.
• Pearls are small round or baroque shaped.
• Swarovski crystals are 3mm-6mm.

Colors : Favorite colors, mix-and-match colors, primary colors, complementary colors, pastels,
tone-on-tone, black and/or white, monochromatic (all blue, different shades of green, etc)
Semiprecious stones readily available:

•purple: amethyst
•blue: lapis lazuli, sodalite, turquoise, pale blue lace agate
•green: jade, malachite, peridot, adventurine
•pink: rose quartz
•orange/red: carnelian, agate, bloodstone, jasper, tiger's eye
•black: onyx, jet, obsidian
•misc: fluorite, moonstone, mother-of-pearl, smoky quartz, hematite

Swarovski crystals come in most colors.
Freshwater pearls are primarly white or pastel colored.

The crystals, glass beads, and pearls are delicate and should be cleaned accordingly. Use a small soft brush with delicate jewelry cleaner. Rinse the jewelry in clear lukewarm water. Dry with a cotton cloth. Polishing
the crystals with a jeweler's cloth makes them really sparkle and "catch the light."
